Step into the exhilarating world of Tash York’s Chaos Cabaret, playing for seven nights only at Adelaide Fringe Festival. Award winning cabaret performer, comedian and queen of chaos Tash York brings her trademark wit, charm and powerhouse vocals to this one of a kind improvised variety game show.
A wild mix of drag, cabaret, circus and burlesque, Chaos Cabaret flips everything you love about Fringe on its head. Each night, three Fringe favourites battle through improvised rounds packed with surprise interruptions, ridiculous challenges and audience prompts, all building to a Lip Sync with a Twist. The audience are also invited to participate in the fun via the means of an interactive QR which can be used from the comfort of their seats.

York returns to Adelaide after delighting audiences around the globe touring Happy Hour and the Ogretastic sell out Swamplesque. York’s sharp comedy, fearless hosting and infectious stage presence have earned her a pile of accolades, including Best Host at the MEDEA Awards 2025 and the Best Weekly Variety Show Award for Chaos Cabaret at last year’s Adelaide Fringe.
York is joined by a stacked lineup of Australia’s favourite variety performers, from local chaos merchants Lyra La Belle and Dorian Courtisan to interstate and international icons Trigger Happy, Memphis Mae and Rowan K (plus many many more!).
