In a celebration of 2025 this concert will showcase the recipients of Recital Australia’s 2025 Elder Conservatorium of Music Fellowship program which supports the professional and artistic skill growth of students (known as Fellows) from the Conservatorium.

The performance will feature all six Fellows: Adam Draper (trombone), Bridget McCullough (viola), Lucy Macourt (violin), Angus McBride (bassoon), Alex Byrne (flute) and Jenny Su (piano)

The diverse and show-stopping program which has been curated by each of the Fellows features the music of Biber, Schumann, Paganini, Debussy, Scriabin, Elgar and more in the picturesque Adelaide Hills setting of the internationally renowned UKARIA Cultural Centre.

According to Recitals Australia President Mark de Raad this concert is the culmination of a highly successful year for the organisation and a milestone moment for the Fellows and the South Australian classical music community.

“We are immensely proud of our Fellows and their achievements. These artists are the future of classical music. The opportunity for audiences to see them share the stage is a special moment in time”, Mark said.

“We are thrilled to be championing the next generation of classical music stars in Australia, with the support of our community and the Elder Conservatorium of Music”.

Violist Bridget McCullough said that the concert and opportunities provided by Recitals Australia have been invaluable to her development as an artist.

“Recitals Australia has provided a wonderful opportunity for me to perform out in the community and to learn about the classical music industry. I am excited to perform at UKARIA with the other Fellows to conclude the Fellowship program”, Bridget said.

The concert will be held at UKARIA Cultural Centre, 119 Williams Road, Mount Barker from 2.30pm with light refreshments and the bar open from 1.30pm. Tickets are priced from $39.
