The Alliance Française French Film Festival (AF FFF), Australia’s largest national film festival and the biggest celebration of French cinema outside of France, has announced its 2025 return to South Australia.
The 36th edition of the event will touch all corners of the state from our city centre (March 19-April 23) to Renmark (March 26-April 1), Victor Harbor (April 2-9) and Mount Gambier (April 3-6), offering keen moviegoers the opportunity to embrace and experience French cinema.
Held annually, the event is set to showcase more than 5,500 screenings of the crème de la crème of contemporary French film across 18 Australian cities as one of largest celebrations of French storytelling through its diverse genres, from comedy, drama and of course, l’Amour.
Executive Director of Alliance Française Adelaide Anne-Lise Heynen-Giri said the festival is a significant event as in injects a burst of authentic French culture into the state.
“The Alliance Française French Film Festival is a highlight of the cultural calendar, bringing an exhilarating dose of authentic French flair to South Australia,” she said.
