a day on the green, Australia’s favourite outdoor winery concert event, is back – kicking off its 24th season this weekend at Peter Lehmann Wines in South Australia’s stunning Barossa Valley.
There’s no better way to escape the daily grind than by enjoying the a day on the green experience – good food, fine wine and great music at some of the country’s most magnificent wineries and outdoor locations.
Shake off the winter blues and spring into some hot fun in the summertime with this season’s hottest shows.
Since its first show in January 2001, a day on the green has become a cherished tradition and must-attend event. With 532 shows and counting, welcoming more than 4 million happy patrons, the a day on the green experience remains unrivalled and a highlight of the Australian concert calendar.
The 2024/25 season is set to be one of a day on the green’s biggest yet, with those summer days drifting away to a series of unforgettable summer nights.
South Australia will host four a day on the green events this summer – the most since the 2017-18 season – as well as FATBOY SLIM’selectrifying dance party rave at Peter Lehmann Wines in March. In a market where many shows are bypassing South Australia, or facing cancellations, these shows are something to celebrate!
Kicking off this weekend with show 533, Daycation Season starts with a bang, with pop legends TAKE THAT and queen of the dance floor SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR lighting up the stage alongside Australian favourites RICKI-LEE and DACY. TAKE THAT are making their a day on the green debut with This Life On Tour at Peter Lehmann Wines, Barossa Valley, SA on Saturday 2 November; Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, NSW on Saturday 9 November; and their only Queensland show at Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton on Sunday 10 November.
And that’s just the start!
Beloved Australian singer-songwriter MISSY HIGGINS will make her long-awaited return to a day on the green for three final encore performances of The Second Act Tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Sound Of White as well as Missy’s latest chart-topping album, The Second Act. Missy will be joined by special guests DAN SULTAN and RUBY FIELDS at Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton, QLD on Saturday 23 November; and KATE MILLER-HEIDKE and RUBY FIELDS join Missy at Centennial Vineyards, Bowral, NSW on Saturday 30 November and atPeter Lehmann Wines, Barossa Valley, SA on Saturday 7 December.
The new year kicks off with the soulful sounds of THE TESKEY BROTHERS on their first headlining a day on the green tour. They will be joined by an array of hand-picked international and Australian special guests, including US indie rockers BAND OF HORSES, Americana, folk and roots artist SIERRA FERRELL, the Australian debut of breakout Irish star CMAT, and local singer and multi-instrumentalist CHARLIE NEEDS BRACES – an eclectic mix that will resonate with fans long after the final note. Don’t miss this homecoming tour at Burswood Park, Perth, WA on Wednesday 8 January; Peter Lehmann Wines, Barossa Valley, SA on Friday 10 January; Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong, VIC on Saturday 11 January; Centennial Vineyards, Bowral, NSW on Sunday 12 January; Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, NSW on Saturday 18 January; and Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton, QLD on Sunday 19 January.
Grammy Award-winning R&B sensation LEON BRIDGES will make his a day on the green debut in January. Celebrated for his captivating stage presence, smooth vocals and timeless sound, Leon is a true entertainer who continues to push the boundaries of his artistry. Joining the lineup are two incredible acts: the mesmerising GLASS BEAMS, known for their captivating fusion of cultures and live instrumentation, and folk-pop singer-songwriter MAPLE GLIDER. Catch this incredible lineup at Centennial Vineyards, Bowral, NSW on Sunday 19 January; and Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong, VIC on Saturday 25 January.
The stars will align later in January and February when THE SCRIPT bring their Satellites World Tour to a day on the green, delivering powerful vocals and unforgettable hits. Joining the Irish stars is a stellar lineup of special guests including CALUM SCOTT, MONTAIGNE, X AMBASSADORS and LOTTE GALLAGHER (excluding Perth). They’re playing at Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, NSW on Saturday 25 January; Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton, QLD on Sunday 26 January; Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong, VIC on Saturday 1 February; Peter Lehmann Wines, Barossa Valley, SA on Sunday 2 February; and Burswood Park, Perth, WA on Wednesday 5 February.
In March get ready to Listen To Your Heart, Dress For Success and embark on an unforgettable Joyride when iconic Swedish pop-rockers ROXETTE make a welcome return to a day on the green. With special guests JON STEVENS and BOOM CRASH OPERA, this will be a night of timeless hits and fan favourites at Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, NSW on Saturday 15 March; and Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton, QLD on Sunday 16 March.

FATBOY SLIM really loves Australia! Get ready to Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat when the world’s most revered DJ and prolific producer, FATBOY SLIM, takes over four stunning wineries for an unforgettable dance party under the sun! MG Live and Frontier Touring, in collaboration with Roundhouse, bring the legendary UK dance music icon to wineries across the country for a triumphant return down under with his Fatboy Slim Loves Australia tour, transforming each winery into the ultimate dance party destination. Joining him on all dates are special guests DJ SEINFELD, CC:DISCO! and JENNIFER LOVELESS. What a phenomenal way to close out the season.
